The main criticism was that many smaller labels felt they would now probably have no possibility to be featured in mushroom magazine. After intensive discussions with the large distributors of our scene we have found a simple solution together: With this plan working together with mushroom will become more effective. When you decide to advertise with us we will forward your request to your distributor and will arrange an approval for the advertising budget. The payment will be made by your distributor; the amount will be deducted from your sales statement at a later date. By proceeding in this way you initially donít have to finance the advertising yourself, and due to the cooperation we have directly with the distributor you will also receive a 10% discount on the advert price. As long as we receive your order well before our deadline together we can coordinate an efficient promotion that will surely be noticeable in your sales figures. So far these distributors are cooperating with us for this new concept: - Arabesque, UK - Wirikuta, Austria The only conditions that apply for an advertising advance from your distributor are: -The sum expected to be paid from your sales statement must be higher than the cost of the advertising. -The logo of your distributor must be included in the advert. -In case you are working with multiple distributors please let us know with which one the advertising advance should be arranged.
